Cortices Technique

The BodyTalk Cortices technique is a very simple but powerful technique you can do for yourself to help your body and brain move from an activated nervous system state or shock, and back into a relaxed healing state where the body can rest, digest and repair.

By supporting the two hemispheres of the brain to communicate effectively we can support brain function, wholistic thinking and problem solving. Because of this, the Cortices technique is also helpful when you need to study or tackle projects that you might usually find stressful or difficult.

If you are a practitioner, doing the Cortices technique can complement your other modalities. By doing it at the start of a session, it can help your client to quickly move into a more relaxed and receptive state for any following work. 

Below are links to a couple videos on youtube to show you how to do the technique for yourself or your loved ones (or really anyone who might need it). It's helpful to do daily and any time you are feeling stressed. I find it helpful for falling asleep when I'm feeling wired or have an overly active mind.
